Champion of the 2012 PGA Tour Majors

The final major of PGA season, the PGA Championship was won by Rory Mcllroy, the young phenom who at 23 years and 3 months becomes the second youngest player to win two majors.

Jack Nicholas won his first two majors at 23 years, 2 months while Tiger Woods won his first two at the age of 23 years, 7 months.

Upon completion of the last major for the season, we decided to take a look at the players who competed in each major, made the cut, and played all 288 holes. Which player, if there was an award/trophy would be crowned the Champion of the PGA Tour Major Championships?

Out of the hundred or so players that play in the majors only 12 players this season successfully competed in each tournament, making the cut.

Of the 12 players it was Adam Scott with the best score, finishing a total of 6 under par across all four majors. Scott, who is arguably the best player to have yet won a major continued his flirtation with major glory - finishing in the top 15 in each major with a heartbreaking second at the British Open after blowing a four shot lead.

For what it's worth, Adam, you're the Champion of the 2012 PGA Tour Majors.
