Total Chances - TC
What does Total Chances - TC Mean?
A statistic that measures the number plays in which a defensive player has participated by handling the ball. Total Chances is calculated by counting the total number of assists, putouts and errors a player is awarded.
Also referred to as "Chances Offered."

Total Chances is used in the Fielding Percentage calculation where Chances Accepted (total number of assists and putouts) is divided by Total Chances to evaluate the effectiveness of a defensive player.
