What does Double-Double Mean?

A term used to describe an achievement when a player records a double digit total number in a single game in two of the following statistical categories: points, total rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.

The double-double is a statistic in and of itself. Former Utah Jazz power forward Karl Malone holds the NBA record for most double-doubles with 814. During the 2011 NBA Season, Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love set the record for most consecutive double-doubles with 52.
