Give-And-Go

What does Give-And-Go Mean?

An offensive play in which a player passes the ball to a teammate (give), immediately cuts to the basket or to an open area (go), and then receives the ball back from the same teammate.

Sporting Charts explains Give-And-Go

In many cases, the player who starts the give-and-go also uses the teammate to whom he passes the ball as a screen when he cuts to the basket or to an open area, making him unguarded when he receives the pass.
