Fumble

What is Fumble?

This is when a ball carrier loses the football during a play. When losing the football either team is able to recover the ball.


Sporting Charts explains Fumble

In the 1996 AFC Championship the Jaguars, only two years in the league were making a final drive to tie the patriots when Jaguars running back James Stewart fumbled the football while running down the field. The patriots recovered the ball and moved on to the Super Bowl.
