Kick return touchdowns are typically very long scoring plays because the returner often catches the ball inside or near his own goal line. Ellis Hobbs (New England Patriots - 2007) and Randall Cobb (Green Bay Packers - 2011) are tied for the longest kick off return touchdown in NFL history at 108 yards (caught eight yards inside their own end zones).
