What does Second Team All Star Mean?
The "second line" on the All Star Team.
Sporting Charts explains Second Team All Star
In the past, fan voting determined the make-up of the First Team All Stars. The remainder of the team, or the Second Team All Stars, was chosen by the NHL's Hockey Operation Department. In 2011 a combination of fan balloting and a fantasy draft was used to fill out the roster for the All Star game.
