3-6-1 Double Play

What is 3-6-1 Double Play?

A type of double play that occurs when the ball is hit to the first baseman (3), then thrown to the shortstop (6) to get the runner out, and then thrown to the pitcher (1) who gets the batter out at first base. The first out is recorded as a 3-6 out.
