What is Weakside Linebacker WLB?

A defensive player in football that is responsible for falling into pass coverage, chasing the play from the backside or tackling the running back who is attacking the weakside. The Weakside Linebacker will often lineup at the same distance from the line of scrimmage as the middle linebacker. 

Also referred to as "Will" or "Bandit."
