A statistic in hockey that measures the number of times and percentage of faceoffs that a player is on the ice for that occur in the offensive zone. Offensive Zone Starts (OZ%) is calculated by taking the total number of faceoffs the player is on the ice for in the offensive zone and dividing by the total number of faceoffs the player is on the ice for.
