More about Pitcher Stolen Bases Allowed Percentage Leaders

Pitching stolen bases allowed percentage leaders are those who allow the most number of stolen base attempts against to be successful stolen bases. Every year at least some pitchers allow all stolen bases attempted to turn into a successful stolen base, so the leaders (there are always multiple leaders) will have a percentage allowed of 100%. This statistic can be slightly deceptive, however: if a pitcher acts to limit the number of stolen bases attempted on him yet does still allow the few stolen bases attempted to turn into a successful stolen base, he will still have a high percentage. In addition, catchers play a significant role in whether stolen bases attempted turn into successful stolen bases.
