There is often a fairly large discrepancy between the teams at the very top and the very bottom of the list. Some teams are constructed to take the Earl Weaver approach to scoring runs (waiting around for players to hit home runs) while other offenses are built more around a higher team batting average and being more aggressive on the basepaths. In addition, some teams may be at the bottom of this list not because they are a poor home run hitting team per se, but because they play in a home stadium that has larger dimensions and is thus more difficult to hit a home run.
