Team Save Percentage: 2015 MLB Season

Team save percentage is the percentage of games saved by a team divided by the sum of saves and blown saves.

More about Team Save Percentage

For most teams the team save percentage will largely mirror the save percentage of their closer(s), so for the most part save percentage is more useful as an individual statistic rather than a team statistic.  In addition, a team can blow more than one save in a game (such as by giving up a lead in the late innings on multiple occasions), whereas the team can only accumulate one save per game, which could lead to a misleading team save percentage.
