Player Receiving TDs and Receiving TD %: 2016 NFL Season

Player Receiving TDs are receptions that resulted in a touchdown by the player who caught the ball, and Receiving TD % are the percentage of all receptions made by a player than resulted in a touchdown.  League leaders generally score around 14-16 touchdowns per year.  Receiving TD % is not a terribly useful stat – a player can have a percentage of 100% simply by making one catch in a season and having it result in a touchdown.  For players that lead the league in receptions their TD % can fluctuate significantly from year to year and can generally be anywhere from 2% to 20%.
