Player Receiving Yards Per Reception: 2016 NFL Season

Player Receiving Yards Per Reception is the number of yards from scrimmage a player earned for every reception he made.  Yards Per Reception is the total of 1) the number of yards between the line of scrimmage and where he caught the ball, plus 2) the number of yards made after the catch.  “Deep threat” receivers usually have the highest yards per reception, while running backs, tight ends, and slot receivers generally have fewer.
