Quarterback Rating is a statistic used to evaluate a Quarterbacks performance across various QB specific categories including passing yards, completion rate, passing touchdowns and interceptions all in a single number.

As detailed in the grid below, Quarterback Rating is comprised of four components - QBR (Comp), QBR (PassYards), QBR (TDs) and QBR (INT), which when combined give you the total Quarterback Rating. QBR (Comp) is a measure of completions to attempts, while QBR (Pass Yards) measures passing yards to attempts, QBR (TDs) touchdowns to attempts and QBR (INT) compares number of interceptions to attempts - each has an equal weight and can be a max of 38.58.
