Team First Down Statistics: 2016 NFL Season

First down statistics give an indication to how well a team is running its offense and extending drives with sets a new set of downs. Teams can be evaluated based on the total number of first downs achieved or on a rate basis by comparing to total number of plays, which shows on average how many of plays run are converted into first downs.

For first downs and first down percentage, the higher the better.
